The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) and the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), saw Mount Pleasant's volleyball squad beat South Stanly by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Tigers host Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. South Stanly will play a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 5-3.
