Central Chargers (Macon, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA), 24-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 12.

With the loss, Spencer falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA) to battle the Gryphons in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 12. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a record of 10-2.
