With the triumph, Lanier moves its record to 1-10 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Shiloh (Snellville, GA) to play the Generals in a 6A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Generals come into the contest with a record of 3-8. Shiloh lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Apalachee (Winder, GA)

In their next game, the Red Elephants play the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 11. Gainesville will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 17-3 league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA).
