The Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs prevailed the visiting Hillsboro Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canby for a 5A Northwest Oregon test on Thursday, September 7. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.

The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Canby (Canby, OR). The Cougars enter the 5A Northwest Oregon test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Canby dropped by Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
