Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (Williamsburg, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Williamsburg improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Pineville (Pineville, KY) to face the Mountain Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Mountain Lions go into the test with a record of 2-1. Pineville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA)

The Generals now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Jackson County will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-2.
