Georgia High School Softball - Vidalia can't hold off Pierce County

The Pierce County Bears softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Vidalia Indians to 4 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Pierce County improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Bears travel to Statesboro (Statesboro, GA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 6-4. Statesboro lost 9-1 in their recent league game against Coffee (Douglas, GA)
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a 2A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, September 13. Vidalia will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
