Virginia High School Volleyball - McLean George C. Marshall

In Thursday's league battle, the host George C. Marshall Statesmen volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the McLean Highlanders.

The Statesmen (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Oakton achieved victory over Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 12. McLean will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
