Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 12. Giles will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record.

With the loss, Grayson County drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to battle the Eagles in a Mountain Empire match on Tuesday, September 13. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-1.
