The West Columbus Vikings volleyball team (Cerro Gordo, NC), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC)

The Leopards (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Midway defeated Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 12. West Columbus will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
