Georgia High School Volleyball - Pickens Lumpkin County

The Lumpkin County Indians topped the visiting Pickens Dragons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Indians now have a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a 3A Area 7 test on Tuesday, September 13. Lumpkin County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-11.

The Dragons (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Union County was knocked off by Morgan County (Madison, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
