The Escalante Moquis volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Fredonia Lynx to 0 in the Moquis non-league victory on Friday.
The Moquis now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piute for a 1A Region 20 game on Wednesday, September 13. Escalante will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-5.
The Lynx (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Shonto Prep (Shonto, AZ). The Grizzlies enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Shonto Prep dropped by Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
