Connecticut High School Volleyball - Portland bounced by Old Lyme

The Portland Highlanders volleyball squad (Portland, CT), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT)

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Panthers enter the Shoreline challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Cromwell beat Morgan (Clinton, CT), 3-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a Shoreline test, on Wednesday, September 10. Portland will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Noises go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT).
