Alaska High School Volleyball - Service over Chugiak

In Friday's league contest, the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Service will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK).

With the loss, Chugiak moves to 8-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to battle the Lynx in a 4A Cook Inlet contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Lynx go into the contest with a record of 7-4. Dimond lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
