The Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) softball routed the visiting Red Oak Eagles (Red Oak, OK), 8-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (20-5) will now prepare for their bout against Panama (Panama, OK). The Razorbacks go into the non-league bout with a 11-6 record.
The Eagles now possess a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Caddo for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Red Oak will confront a Bruins squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Prague (Prague, OK). The Bruins record now stands at 22-2.
