The Pelican Rapids Vikings topped the visiting Battle Lake Battlers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breckenridge for a Heart O'Lakes test on Saturday, September 9. Pelican Rapids will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN). The Cowboys record now stands at 2-1.

The Battlers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Panthers enter the Little Eight test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Parkers Prairie gained a win over Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
