Alabama High School Volleyball - Elkmont over East Lawrence

September 9, 2023: Elkmont, AL 35620

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) and the visiting East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL), saw Elkmont's volleyball squad beat East Lawrence by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Elkmont upgrades its record to 5-9 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Clements (Athens, AL) to play the Colts in a 3A Area 16 bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Clements lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Danville (Danville, AL)

The Eagles now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Lawrence County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. East Lawrence will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-11.
