The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) and the host Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), saw Sheldon's volleyball squad nip Sibley-Ocheyedan by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sheldon upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Orabs travel to Charles City (Charles City, IA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Charles City won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA)

The Generals now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Sibley-Ocheyedan will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over West Sioux (Hawarden, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
