Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mt. Hope advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to clash with the Eagles in a Division 1 test on Wednesday, September 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0. Barrington 1-1 in their recent league test against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI)

The Lions now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Kingstown for a Division 1 test on Thursday, September 12. Lincoln will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 2-2 non-league Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 4-3.
