North Carolina High School Soccer - Swain County nudges Murphy

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Murphy Bulldogs.
The Maroon Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats go into the Smoky Mountain 1A outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Blue Ridge Early College got by Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Wednesday, September 11. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Braves go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 8-2 league loss to Tri-County (Murphy, NC).
