In Monday's non-league match, the host Edmund Burke Academy Spartans softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Bulloch Academy Gators.

The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA). The Crusaders come into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Robert Toombs Christian Academy nipped Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 11. Bulloch Academy will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
