West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) followers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host North Duplin for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. West Columbus will play a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Hobbton drops to 0-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Gators go into the game with a record of 4-0. East Columbus won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Union (Rose Hill, NC)
