The Manchester Lancers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks to 0 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lancers now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.R. Tucker for a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. Manchester will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
The Skyhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs go into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Monacan lost by Cosby (Midlothian, VA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
