The Gryphons now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Persons for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. Academy for Classical Education will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-1 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Washington County moves to 10-7 on the season. The Golden hawks travel to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA) to confront the Royals in a 1A D-I Region 2 battle on Wednesday, September 10. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Bleckley County won 4-0 in their recent league battle against Central (Macon, GA)
