In Tuesday's league match, the host Pickens Dragons softball team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Dawson County Tigers.

Next, the Dragons play the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 8-0 league loss to Denmark (Alpharetta, GA).
