The Jefferson County Warriors softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Southwest Patriots to 0 in the Warriors league win on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast for a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, September 10. Jefferson County will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-6.

The Patriots (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Northeast (Macon, GA). The Raiders come into the 1A D-I Region 2 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Northeast was routed by Jefferson County (Louisville, GA), 9-1, in a league battle.
