The Okarche Warriors softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Union City Tigers to 0 in the Warriors non-league win on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geary for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Okarche will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Watonga (Watonga, OK). The Bison record now stands at 0-1.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Chickasha (Chickasha, OK). The Fighting Chicks go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Chickasha was routed by Blanchard (Blanchard, OK), 13-1, in a non-league test.
