Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sumrall improves its record to 18-5 on the season. The Bobcats host South Jones (Ellisville, MS) to encounter the Braves in a Class 5A Region 3 test on Monday, September 15. The Braves go into the test with a record of 9-3. South Jones won 3-0 in their recent league test against North Pike (Summit, MS)

The Jaguars now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seminary for a Class 3A Region 6 test on Tuesday, September 16. Jefferson Davis County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
