Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) and the host Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), saw Pine Tree's volleyball squad achieve victory over Kilgore by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Pine Tree improves its record to 18-10 on the season. The Pirates host Gilmer (Gilmer, TX) to face the Buckeyes in a 4A Region II District 16 test on Friday, September 12. The Buckeyes go into the test with a record of 11-11. Gilmer won 3-0 in their recent league test against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Saturday, September 13. Kilgore will face a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Lions record now stands at 14-12.
