Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Aloha (Beaverton, OR). The Warriors enter the 6A Metro challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Aloha was beaten by Sunset (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks meet the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Metro challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Mountainside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
