Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Valley Catholic Valiants (Beaverton, OR) and the visiting Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks (Portland, OR), observed Valley Catholic's volleyball team top Oregon Episcopal by a count of 3-0.
The Valiants (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR). The Hawks go into the 3A Lewis & Clark battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Horizon Christian achieved victory over De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Aardvarks now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside Christian for a 3A Lewis & Clark battle on Thursday, September 11.
