Baseball Recap: Oglethorpe County Comes Up Short

Oglethorpe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Putnam County War Eagles. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the War Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Oglethorpe County now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Coming up, Oglethorpe County will be playing in front of their home fans against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Putnam County, they will take on Clarke Central at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
