Softball Recap: Brookwood Takes a Loss

Brookwood blew Westwood out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Westwood got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-8. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

Brookwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Harrison, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Brookwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Westwood, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Brookwood has already played their next match, a 13-2 victory against Brooks County on the 3rd. As for Westwood, they will take on Fullington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
