Bremen is 0-3 against Munster since May of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Braves will venture away from home to take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Bremen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Bremen didn't have quite enough to beat Thornton Fractional South and fell 7-6.

Ashton Cardinal made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jon Olivera, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Munster entered their tilt with Illiana Christian on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 6-1.

Danny Bevil spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits.

At the plate, Munster's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Donovan Craig, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Manny Guaramato was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Munster's record now sits at 22-6. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bremen has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Munster struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Bremen might still be hurting after the 11-2 defeat they got from Munster when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
