Softball Recap: Sandy Creek Takes a Loss

Sandy Creek lost against Fayette County on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 23-6 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sandy Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Fayette County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-12.

Sandy Creek has already played their next matchup, a 16-1 defeat against Whitewater on the 25th. As for Fayette County, they will head out on the road to square off against Troup County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
