Flour Bluff entered their tilt with Fort Bend Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emily Eggleston paced Flour Bluff's offense, picking up ten kills. Eggleston got some help from Lola Fisher and her 11 assists. Kate Croft controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Daniela Ramirez, who had 14 digs and two assists. Laicey Glenn also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Flour Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
