While George Walton Academy put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Riverside Military Academy. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Eagles. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Brock Lowe and Beckett Lacour did most of the damage at the plate: Lowe got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Lacour went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Braden Callaway was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: George Walton Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.6.

George Walton Academy pushed their record up to 6-17 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Riverside Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
