Baseball Recap: Northside Eagles vs. Howard Huskies
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside). They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Howard Huskies on Monday. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Huskies on their field since April 17, 2017.
Caden Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Jeremiah Rozier was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
