Baseball Game Preview: Riverside Military Academy Eagles vs. George Walton Academy Bulldogs

Riverside Military Academy hasn't had much luck against George Walton Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Riverside Military Academy will be strutting in after a victory while George Walton Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Riverside Military Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over Cottage last Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Meanwhile, George Walton Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Karns on Saturday and fell 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baylor Lowe was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Beckett Lacour, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Riverside Military Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for George Walton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Riverside Military Academy might still be hurting after the 22-4 loss they got from George Walton Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
