Brighton is a perfect 3-0 against Boulder since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bulldogs will host the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Brighton's offense. They lost 14-0 to Riverdale Ridge on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Ravens: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Boulder also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Westminster on Thursday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Boulder saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Everything went Brighton's way against Boulder when the teams last played back in September, as Brighton made off with a 14-1 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
