Basketball Recap: Garry Harnden's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Community Christian over Franklin County + How To Watch

The Community Christian Chargers ended up a good deal behind the Franklin County Seahawks on Friday and lost 68-52.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Garry Harnden, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and three steals. Harnden is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Dasher, who earned 11 points.

Franklin County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja'Micheal Miller, who shot 70% from the field en route to 15 points and eight rebounds. Sadiq Jones was another key player, putting up 19 points and seven boards.

Community Christian now has a losing record of 1-2.

Community Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-46 defeat against L.E.A.D. Academy on the 24th. As for Franklin County, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Community Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd.
