Baseball Game Preview: Loving Falcons vs. Texico Wolverines

The Loving Falcons will head out to take on the Texico Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Loving is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Eunice just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Texico didn't have quite enough to beat Tularosa on Friday and fell 3-1.

Texico saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Reese, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Loving's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Texico, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Loving beat Texico 6-3 in their previous meeting last Saturday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
