Eldorado faced La Cueva in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Golden Eagles took a 26-7 bruising from the Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for La Cueva, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.
