Soccer Recap: Madera South Finishes Even with Clovis East

Madera South came into Wednesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Clovis East Timberwolves finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Stallions' first draw of the season.

Alysa Guillen was the only thing that stood between Madera South and a shutout considering she scored both of Madera South's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Madera South's draw makes their record 1-4-1 this season. Meanwhile, Clovis East's record is now 0-0-2.

Madera South will head out to square off against Clovis at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Madera South is facing Clovis at the right time seeing as Clovis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clovis East, they will take on Oakdale in a tournament on Friday. Oakdale's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
