Soccer Recap: Wabash Comes Up Short

Wabash lost against Manchester back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Apaches fell just short of the Squires by a score of 2-1.

Wabash's goal came courtesy of Max Carpenter, who's now up to three this season.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Manchester, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Wabash didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Northwestern on the 30th. As for Manchester, they will square off against Tippecanoe Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manchester will be up against Tippecanoe Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.6 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
