Soccer Recap: Yosemite Takes a Loss

If Yosemite was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Sunnyside last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yosemite Badgers came up short against the Madera South Stallions on Wednesday, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for the Badgers in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

Yosemite's goal came courtesy of Farrah Franklin, who's now up to three this season.

Yosemite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Madera South, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yosemite will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Justin Garza at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Madera South, they will head out to challenge Mission Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
