Softball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Takes a Loss

Hydro-Eakly suffered their closest defeat since August 23rd on Friday. They fell just short of the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears by a score of 5-3. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Hydro-Eakly has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season.

Hydro-Eakly has already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Carnegie on the 15th. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Altus on the 15th.
