Softball Recap: Castle View Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Castle View finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cherokee Trail Cougars, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Sabercats were not able to get on the board.

Castle View's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cherokee Trail, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle View will square off against Pueblo County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cherokee Trail, they will challenge Arapahoe at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
