Softball Recap: Savannah Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Savannah's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Hill Trojans on Wednesday. The Savages have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Brailyn Fox was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits.

Savannah's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Park Hill, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Savannah will venture away from home to square off against Plattsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Park Hill, they will head out to face off against Lee's Summit at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
