Softball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

If Brighton was feeling good fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Boulder last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Erie Tigers by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Suki Mizunaga was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Erie, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

As of now, neither Brighton nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
