Softball Recap: Bayard Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Bayard came up short against Sterling, falling 19-5.

Bayard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaidence Lee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Lee has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Bailey Sinks also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Bayard's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sterling, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Bayard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-4 victory against Limon on the 6th. As for Sterling, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against Wellington on the 6th.
